Sisterhood

What does sisterhood mean to you? What will being a part of Phi Sigma Rho mean to you?

"Without Phi Rho, I never would have met or at least gotten close to all of the women whom I now consider some of my closest friends."

"Sisterhood to me means someone will always be there to help. When you make a mistake, they will forgive you."

"I am happy I get to see these girls every Sunday and cannot wait to start rush in the fall. I have learned so much these past weeks and we have bonded and stressed over failing quizzes."

"It means that I will be surrounded by women who can relate to me."

"I feel like Phi Rho will connect me to other women in engineering, both in school and the real world. I’m looking forward to all of the opportunities Phi Rho has to offer."

"Sisterhood to me is a bond that you will take with you for the rest of your life."

"Phi Sigma Rho will help me develop as a person while gaining valuable and new friendships."

"This group is really supportive and understanding and I am so glad I found people who are so accepting."

"I did not grow up with these sisters, but being a part of this sisterhood and Phi Rho means they will always be with me."

"... even though I barely knew these girls, they all gave comforting words and invited me to talk to them and said they were there for me."

"Sisterhood is a group of women coming together for a common goal; Women who genuinely care about each other and want each other to succeed."

"As fellow engineering students we can look at each other and know what each other is going through."

Alpha Class Shirts

The Alpha Class shirts are in! Don't they all look cute?!

They have been proudly wearing them around campus demonstrating their Phi Rho pride. They decided on a comfortable V-neck in a light pink. I think the penguins on the lower back are my favorite part.

It is almost summer for the girls (good luck on finals!) and they have completed all of their new member education requirements. They elected two new officers in the last meeting. Congratulations to Stephanie on becoming the Director of Recruitment and same to Meagan for becoming Director of Scholarship. They are looking forward to coming back in the fall and hosting Recruitment events to gain a Beta Class, and finishing up requirements to become a chapter. Check back in September for more announcements on fall activities.
